I have been taking photos for over a decade now, but it wasn’t until November 2019 that I committed to my photography dream. Before that it was always picking up some jobs here and there, but I would have never called myself a photographer when people asked me what I did for a living. This changed then in November as I fixed my mindset on being a photographer. Then the pandemic hit. While the pandemic has wreaked all sorts of havoc, it gave me the time to focus myself and answer the why of why I want to be a photographer and what I hope to bring to the world. This was incredibly liberating as I was able to finally vocalize my mission and goal as a photographer, which is to tell stories that inspire, educate, and uplift and tend to focus on the positivity, creativity, and innovative nature of the human spirit. These pictures I have selected here are meant to spread joy and bring peace as we close out 2020.
